Friday 26th September St. Joseph’s hosted a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
We encouraged all staff members and children to go home and bake some delicious cakes so we could sell them in school. We had an overwhelming turnout from parents who along with all our pupils helped raise money for this great charity.
The morning went spectacularly we couldn’t of asked for anything more. Collectively we raised just little over £100.
A big thank you from everyone at St. Josephs to all of those that got involved.
Comments from our pupils:
“It was really hard selling the cakes. It was really fun and we raised over a £100”
“The funds raised from the coffee morning will go a long way in assisting cancer patients”
“The children had lots of fun raising money for a good cause”
