In addition to high quality teaching of the core curriculum, we also deliver excellence in art and music here at St Joseph's.

Mrs Cahoon and Miss Priest are our art and music specialists respectively and they deliver these aspects of the curriculum throughout the school.

The children learn a variety of artistic techniques as well as learning about some of the artists behind them and produce a wonderful standard of work throughout the school, which culminted in one of our children winning a national competition! 

Miss Priest delivers a comprehensive music programme throughout the school. The children learn to play recorders and ukelele, with extra lunchtime practice sessions for those who take a further interest. We also have a peripatetic piano teacher, which Miss Priest supplements with lunchtime practice sessions for those who wish.

The children also perform concerts for parents to show off their growing musical talent throughout the year.
