I have been in teaching for almost 30 years, and I love what I do!
Although I completed my University courses in London and my Teacher training in Yorkshire, I have been resident in the Midlands for most of my life. I know Nottingham very well, Rock City being an old haunt of mine many years ago. I have taught in a number of Nottingham schools, both in the independent sector and in the state system. I have also worked in job share scenarios so am very used to the uniqueness of that situation.
I had only heard wonderful things about St Joseph’s, so was thrilled when a position became available. I already feel welcomed and excited by the year ahead.
On a personal note I am a Mum to one teenage son, Silas, and the ‘owner’ of a gorgeous but cantankerous black cat called Reggie.
